Sounds crazy, right? Writing and fun in the same sentence?

We believe it’s not only possible—but that’s how it should be.

Every one of us has a story, and we believe telling it should be fun.

Forget the haggard, lonely writer shivering in a garret somewhere.

We’re holding a workshop where You bring your stories and memories. And we’ll bring tips, tools, and tricks to make getting those memories out of your head and onto paper (or computer) FUN.

Have you ever thought, “I wish I could tell my grandkids what life was like back then,”

“I wish my kids could have known my mom like I did,” or

“I wish I knew a way to tell my family and friends all the things I’ve gone through”?

Isn’t it time to stop wishing and take action? We’re here to help you get started.

Leslie Santamaria and I have been good friends and critique partners for many years. Between us, we’ve published fiction, non-fiction, and children’s books; articles, curricula, blogs, and devotions.

More importantly, we love to teach and encourage others to tell their stories. We’ve helped to write and edit lots of people’s stories.

Will writing your life story take time? Of course. But it will be worth every minute.

We’ve heard all the excuses:
“I’m a terrible speller.” That’s okay. That’s why there’s spell check.

“I’m not a good writer.” No problem. It’s the stories that matter.

“I don’t know where to start.” That’s where we come in. We’ll show you how.
